Vin et Marée - Maine is a Paris restaurant situated on Avenue de Maine in the 14th arrondissement, in the Montparnasse area. It opened on the site of a famous fish restaurant in the 70's and 80's. When you enter here, the first thing you see is a large fish tank fulled with langoustine and lobsters, ready to be plucked out and dished up. Vin et Marée is a restaurant entirely dedicated to fish, seafood and wine. Fresh fish are brought every day from the ports of Brittany and Normandy with only the best of the night's catch making it onto the tables. The menu changes consequently on a daily basis, depending on the catch. Wines are careffuly picked to go with the fish. The Baba au Rhum, a Zanzibar-inspired house dessert, is worth trying if you are a fan of Rhum. The restaurant has air conditioning and there is a car valet service.
