Chez Julien in Paris' 6th arrondissement is the second restaurant of the Poulat family who already owns the same named restaurant in Paris 4th (see Chez Julien, Paris 4). This Chez Julien restaurant has a warmly decorated main room, with soft cream- and chocolate-colored walls, and features the same traditional French cuisine made of fresh market produce. Tasty dishes abound, such as the creamy mashed potatoes with fried foie gras, the octopus salad accompanied with warm potatoes, or the royal prawns with their Provencal risotto. Not to be missed their excellent desserts (try the fruit clafoutis). There is also a sweet terrace with a view on the St Germain des Prés market. Daily menus at surprisingly reasonable prices in this area of Paris.
